Phaña

Phaña: [pronounced - pa’nya] means - The Right Side - when referring to this particular path in the Andean worldview. There are three other parts - Chaupi (middle) and Lloqe (left) sides, followed by a master class. Each of these paths come from a different lineage and master in the Andean tradition.

  Phaña deals with the Mystical - energetic perception, and Yachay - knowledge, coming from the Wassau lineage of Andean master Don Benito Qoriwaman. Mysticism relates to the pursuit of spiritual comprehension about actuality or physical existence, beyond the intellectual or rational mind.  A Mystic is a person who seeks direct connection and spiritual knowledge of ‘truth’ or ultimate reality through their subjective experience.   

What it’s about …

Phaña is the first of four paths that my teachers - Don Juan Nuñez Del Prado Behar and his son Ivan Nuñez Del Prado, deliver in 10 day seminars worldwide.  The paths are taught in sequence: Phaña, Chaupi, Lloqe and the Masterclass.  Each one deals with different aspects of the Andean tradition, passed down in a lineages that date back to the time of the Incas. This indigenous wisdom has been prevalent in the high Andes for over a thousand years, not only in Peru, but similar practices are recognised in Bolivia and beyond.

The Phaña seminars give a background into Andean cosmology, covering three of the main energy practices:

Saminchakuy - the downward flow of light living energy from the cosmos to release heavy energy;

Saiwachakuy - the upward flow from Pachamama for empowerment; and

Huchamikuy - the release of heavy energy from yourself and others.

Learn how to create this power-pack or cosmic bundle, for your healing journey. Paqos are mystics and practitioners of the sacred Andean arts. We don’t use the term “Shaman”, but you could say it is a shamanic tradition.
